Dear Alumni & Friends

President Glasser In my brief time at Bradley, I have come to realize that this is a University with tremendous, untapped potential. There are so many good people here doing so many good things that I believe, as others have told me, that Bradley University is on the cusp of something great.

The time is now to reach for that greatness. Bradley students, alumni, and friends should dream big dreams for our institution and for ourselves. Those dreams are within our grasp if we seize the moment, look to the future with a broad vision, and imagine all the great things we can do next. I believe our University can move from good to great, can become nationally recognized for our outstanding students and faculty, and can make a significant impact, not only on our region and our state, but throughout the globe.

To do so, we are embarking on the Campaign for a Bradley Renaissance. It is a campaign to remake the face of our campus. It is dedicated to providing new facilities where students can learn, recreate, and explore new worlds. It is an effort to provide the facilities that our students, faculty, and alumni need to take Bradley to the next level. When successful, this campaign will make a Bradley diploma more valuable—and more valued—for current students, those who have gone before them and those yet to come.

More than a century ago, Lydia Moss Bradley founded our University to provide each student “with the means of living an independent, industrious, and useful life by the aid of a practical knowledge of the useful arts and sciences.” The Bradley family has lived her vision for 110 years.

To keep doing so at the highest level, to realize our vision—and hers—we are embarking on this bold quest for a Bradley Renaissance. I know each of you will help when asked. And I know we will be successful in our journey to greatness.

Warm regards,

Joanne K. Glasser
