Today, Bradley is one of the premier medium-sized, private universities in the Midwest. In its 110 years, Bradley has made vital contributions to the life of Peoria, Illinois, the nation, and the world. Our alumni encompass leaders in all fields, from government to the corporate world, from education to entertainment.

We see a Bradley that continues to meet — and exceed — the needs and expectations of tomorrow’s students. We see a Bradley that offers itself to its surrounding community in inclusive ways, a university leader that paves the way to a brighter future for our entire region.
We see a Bradley that continues to educate, based on its founding principles and values. We see a Renaissance of all that Lydia Moss Bradley promised in her exhortation that the University “furnish its students with the means of living an independent, industrious and useful life by the aid of a practical knowledge of the useful arts and sciences.” We see a Bradley rededicated to these values and working to apply them in an ever-changing world.
Bradley has spent the last two decades building the competitiveness of its students, the quality of its faculty and the strength of its programs. It has kept up with the breakneck pace of technological advances. It has shown the strength of the Bradley community with an exceptional fundraising record. During the centennial years a capital campaign raised an impressive $127.4 million, adding to an endowment that remains strong enough to keep tuition affordable. And Bradley’s successful financial management has kept the University strong.
But Bradley cannot stop now. There is no resting on laurels. Bradley, as any institution, must change and evolve. And it’s up to us to make sure future generations can benefit from the Bradley experience.
